Hometown Heroes Safety Expo brings together law enforcement, fire, emergency medical, and public safety professionals for a dynamic community event celebrating the men and women who protect our city every day. Held at Los Medanos College on July 11, 2026, this free public expo features live demonstrations, safety training, family-friendly activities, and direct engagement with the agencies that serve our region. Whether you’re a resident, business owner, or future first responder — this is your chance to connect, learn, and honor the heroes in your own backyard.
Our goal is to strengthen community bonds, empower residents with practical safety skills, recognize and honor our first responders as the heroes they are for their unwavering commitment to our communities, and foster lasting partnerships between first responders, local officials, businesses, organizations, and the public.
